Breeder: Therese Chojnacki - Nashotah, Wisconsin |
My philosophy of breeding is to produce healthy, happy family dogs while imporiving the standard of Dachshunds. I have been breeding for about 2 years and find that there is still a lot to learn on the topic of breeding. I am a 4-H leader. I work in the dog project and when children don't have a family dog, they use my Dachshunds. One of my females is a therapy dog. All of my dogs participate in Field Trials & Earth Dog. When one of my Dachshunds is expecting puppies, I have a health screening done pre-litter & post-litter. At three days old, the puppies go in for a health exam and dew claw removal. Before pups leave for their new home they are: used to wearing a collar, had their first vaccinations, potty trained, exposed to baths, dewormed and used to having their nails clipped. I have (1) dapple female, (2) black & tan males and (1) dapple male born 5/13/09 and will be ready for new homes on 7/22/09. |

Breeder: Lin Sell, MD - Colgate, Wisconsin |
Litters due May 1 and May 9, 2009. Ready for placement around June 27th to July 1st, 2009. I've owned & bred English Setters using the "Linwood" kennel name since 1978. I exhibit in Conformation, Hunt Tests & Field Trials. My own dogs are housedogs & daily companions. I only breed litters when I am personally interested in a puppy. I am committed to improving the health of my own dogs and that of my breed in general. I only use dogs in my breeding program that are clear of hip & elow dysplasia & congenital deafness. My breeding females are all free of hypothyroidism. Puppies are born & raised in my home. I use a comprehensive stimulations & socialization program to build confident puppies that adapt easily to new situations. I only sell puppies to homes with solid or invisible fencing. German Shorthaired Pointer |
Breeder: Edwin Kerr - Iron Ridge, Wisconsin |
We have been involed with shorthairs for over 20 years and we take great pride in our breedings. We put as much emphasis on temperament as we do on hunt ability. We thoroughly research all stud dogs before breeding. All pre-breeding screenings are done. All litters are vet checked and receive first shots. We offer a 30-month genetic health guarantee. We use the puppy neurological stimulation to enhance development, start crate training and potty training at the time of weaning and pups are introduced to wing and string and pigeons. Litter due July 1st, 2009. |

My breeding goal is sound structure, intelligence and of course, that Golden temperament. Eyes are checked yearly. Hearts & thyroid are examined after a year and after the second birthday and the hips and elbows are OFA x-rayed. My current three Golden girls are certified therapy dogs, compete in agility and rally obedience and participate in school demonstrations and library reading programs. Our puppies are whelped in our home with constant human handling. They receive daily stimulation and opportunities to learn and problem solve. We have 4 females and 3 males born on 5/15/09 that are ready to place 7/12/09. |
