Shipping Frozen Semen:

Semen stored at Veterinary Village/ICSB WI/IL/IN can be shipped to almost any US destination with a 3-week day notice. For shipments with fewer than three days' notice, we will need to assess the situation on a case-by-case basis due to staffing and tank availability. International shipments require careful planning, including adherence to specific collection and freezing protocols, and may involve additional paperwork and testing.

Process for Shipping Frozen Semen:

Frozen semen can be prepared and shipped well in advance of its intended use. Shipping outside the US, particularly to island states or foreign countries, requires extensive planning and may necessitate specific tests on the stud dog to meet import regulations. Proper paperwork must be completed by the stud dog owners or co-owners to permit the use of the semen and to register any resulting pups with the AKC, UKC, or other registries. Additionally, storage facilities need to be notified in advance to ensure they can safely accept and store the semen.
